Shungite Merkaba, 100mm, Hand Carved, Genuine Black Shungite
What an extraordinary piece this is! This large shungite merkaba measures a full 4 inches in diameter (100mm), and is hand-carved from one solid piece of black shungite weighing about 3 pounds, 7 ounces.
Each is slightly different due to shungite's natural mineral inclusions and veins!
Being hand-carved and not machined, you will appreciate all the little variations and imperfections (see photos). Even little divotsand grooves that look like they don't belong and probably (I'm guessing) reflect a change in angle by the carver.
The imperfections and the sheer time it took to carvethese makes them truly special!
Each merkaba comes with a custom wood stand made especially for it by Mike Stark of Olympia, Washington, from reclaimed wood.
What is a Merkaba?
A merkaba (sometimes spelled "merkabah") is an eight-pointed three-dimensional star in sacred geometry. The merkaba is said to be the "divine light vehicle" used by ascended masters to connect with the higher realms, something like a chariot. "Mer" means light, "Ka" means spirit, and "Ba" means body. With its intersecting triangles, it represents the connection between the human and the Divine.
